Ramana Gokula


Ramana Kumar Gogula (Telugu: రమణ కుమార్ గోగుల), popularly known as Ramana Gogula, is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, and composer. In 1996 he produced the Indian pop, studio album Mysty Rhythms along with a music video - Aye Laila which became a chart buster. He then ventured into Telugu cinema. He is also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. His notable hits include Thammudu, Adavilo Anna, Premante Idera, Badri, and Yuvaraju. He composed the theme music for the 70th anniversary celebrations of his alma mater, Timpany School. He was also co-founder and former CEO of the company Liquid Krystal in Bangalore.[1]

Besides Telugu he has scored music for a Kannada movie, Yuvaraja, starring Shivrajkumar and a Tamil movie, Badri, which is a remake of Thammudu. Gogula is a software engineer by profession, and has worked for Sybase. He recently relocated to Hyderabad and has finished a new film called Boni.

Achhu


Achu Rajamani, often credited as Achu, is an Indian film score and soundtrack composer and singer.He has scored music for several Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films. He made his full-fledged music direction debut in the Telugu film Nenu Meeku Telusa...? in 2008.

Achu has worked as a keyboard programmer for more than 350 songs and has programmed background music for over 150 films. He is also a professional pianist and has accompanied his father playing the piano to many of his compositions.[1] He first played keyboard for Bollywood film Chup Chup Ke (2006) directed by Priyadarshan. He was the called upon to score the background music for the Malayalam film Keerthi Chakra's sequel film Kurukshetra (2008). Achu's background music was well appreciated.

Following this short stint, Achu got his major break when he got to compose the songs and background score for the Telugu film Nenu Meeku Telusa...? (2008). His next work was for the Telugu remake of the Tamil film Polladhavan, named Kurradu (2009).

Apart from composing, Achu also worked as a playback singer. His song "Take It Easy" for the Malayalam film Happy Husbands composed by M. Jayachandran was among the major hits of 2010.

In 2012, Achu released his first full-fledged Tamil soundtrack for the film Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilaey. The album was very well received by critics. His Telugu songs Bujji Pilla and Devatha from Potugadu and Padipoya from DK Bose were the biggest hits of 2013.

Apart from composing and playback singing Achu is into professional racing. He took a break from films to pursue his racing career from 2009 till 2012. He is a cricketer too. In 2015, he made his debut as an actor with the Telugu film Gaddam Gang.

Deva



Devanesan Chokkalingam, popularly known as Deva, is an Indian film composer and singer. He has composed songs and provided background music for Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films in a career spanning about 20 years. Many know his gaana songs, written mostly using Madras Tamil. Lengendary singers S. P. Balasubrahmanyam & K. S. Chitra recorded maximum of songs in his composition. He is known as the "Father of Gaana Genre" in the Tamil film industry.[2][3]

Deva has composed music for many films within a very short period. He debuted as a film music director in the film Manasukkeththa Maharaasa in 1989. In the intervening years he has composed music for a total of more than 400 films.

Gibran



Mohamaad Ghibran (often credited as M. Ghibran) is an Indian composer. He has composed music for Indian films, advertising films and television commercial jingles in different languages.

The director A. Sarkunam selected Ghibran to compose the soundtrack for Vaagai Sooda Vaa. N Venkateswaran of The Times of India wrote of the soundtrack, "M Ghibran joins the list of debut composers who have impressed with their work in recent times. The music score complements the movie, and marks him out as a musician to watch out for".Malathi Rangarajan from The Hindu wrote that "Music is another highlight. M. Gibran's numbers keep ringing in your ears long after you leave the cinema".Rajagopalan Badrinarayanan from musicperk.com wrote "Vaagai Sooda Vaa is a wholesome package with wonderful songs. Being his first movie Gibran has done a great job with the musical score. The album will surely reshuffle the current chart". Ghibran said that after Vaagai Sooda Vaa and that he was then approached by several directors about other projects, but he decided to take a break to look for an urban based script.

In 2013, Ghibran composed the music for the films Vatthikuchi, Kutti Puli and Naiyaandi. His 2014 releases were Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and Amara Kaaviyam. He also had his first Telugu release Run Raja Run. According to Behindwoods.com, his work in the film "garnered great appreciation from the fans" and the songs had been "in the top of the charts for a long time".He was offered soundtrack work for Vishwaroopam II by Kamal Haasan, as well as his next two projects, Uttama Villain and Papanasam, the Tamil remake of Drishyam, as well.

Ghibran currently shuttles between Chennai, Mumbai and Singapore for all his recording works, and owns a studio at Chennai.

Hip Hop



Hiphop Tamizha (pronounced Tamiḻā) is an Indian musical duo consisting of Adhithya "Adhi" Ramachandran Venkatapathy and R. Jeeva based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.Initially underground since their formation in 2005, the duo achieved wide recognition through the track "Club le Mabbu le"; a radio performance of the song received over two million views within a week of its release on YouTube in 2011.

The international brand Remy Martin, after hearing the song and being impressed with their determination, eventually launched Hiphop Tamizha as an official brand. In 2012, Hiphop Tamizha released their debut album Hip Hop Tamizhan, which is India's first Tamil hip hop album. It was a major critical and commercial success. While the duo are primarily independent musicians, they have also contributed to numerous works outside independent music, such as composing and performing music for films. They have also launched a clothing brand
