Chakravarthi was born in Ponnekallu, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh. He has a son Sri Kommineni who was also a music director and a playback singer.

Film career:
His first film in Telugu Mooga Prema released in 1971 before this film he composed background music for a Hindi movie, in that movie titles his name was misspilled as Chakravarthi actually it is Apparao then he continued as Chakravarthi. Mooga Prema film was not a good hit at box-office, Saradha (1973) gave him a good hit but after this film also he is not well recognized.

In 1977, Yamagola was released and this is the great turning point of his career.

He was a dubbing artiste and lent his voice in 600 movies. He also penned lyrics for a few songs. He was also a singer and acted in few films.

Manayangath Subramanian Viswanathan (24 June 1928 – 14 July 2015), also known as M.S.V., was an Indian music director and composer. He was popularly known as Mellisai Mannar (Tamil for "The King of Light Music"). He composed songs in 1200 films across languages - Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.He worked primarily in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu films. He also acted and sung in a few Tamil films.The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu J Jayalalithaa conferred the Thirai Isai Chakravarthy (Tamil for "The Emperor of Cine Music") title on him in August 2012 and presented him with 60 gold coins and a new car.

Viswanathan composed film music together with composer and violinist T. K. Ramamoorthy from the 1950s to 1965, as Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy for 100 films and from 1965 until 2014 he worked independently as a composer for 1100 films composing more than 15000 songs.

K. V. Mahadevan (born Krishnankoil Venkatachalam Mahadevan 14 March 1918 – 21 June 2001) was an Indian composer, singer-songwriter, music producer, and musician known for his works in Telugu cinema, Tamil cinema, Kannada cinema, and Malayalam cinema. He is best known for his contributions in works such as Manchi Manasulu (1962), Lava Kusa (1963), Kandan Karunai (1967), Adimai Penn (1969), Balaraju Katha (1970), Sankarabharanam (1979), Saptapadi (1981), Sirivennela (1986), Shrutilayalu (1987), Pelli Pustakam (1991), and Swathi Kiranam (1992). K. V. Mahadevan was born in 1918 at Nagercoil, Krishnancoil, Kanyakumari district.

A contemporary of M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy, starting his career in the 1942 with Manonmani, Mahadevan scored music for over six hundred feature films, spanning four decades, and has garnered two National Film Awards, the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director, three Nandi Awards for Best Music Director, and the Filmfare Best Music Director Award (Telugu).

Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer. Karthik started his professional career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung in multiple languages including Tamil( over 1000 songs), Telugu( over 500 songs), Kannada( over 300 songs), and in other languages like Malayalam, Odia, Bengali and Hindi. Karthik is known for his versatility in the industry which gave him opportunity to sing a variety of songs.

He has composed music for a multi lingual Coca Cola Advertisement (for Rajeev Menon featuring actor Vijay)[3] and Prince Jewellery advertisements. He is the music director of Vasanthabalan's period film Aravaan and Srinivas Raga's Okkadine starring Nara Rohit and Nithya Menen in Telugu.

He has also released an album called "Music I Like". It is based on carnatic ragaas and it is a contemporary take on some well known keerthanas.The Orchestration was done my Music director Sai Madhukar. He also performed in Oxford engineering college Bengaluru.

Vandemataram Srinivas is a South Indian music director, who is also a playback singer and an actor and film director.

Bobo Shashi (Tamil: போபோ சஷி : born 12 October 1981) is an Indian film composer from Tamil Nadu, India.
career:
Shashikanth (a) BoBo Shashi was born in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India to a musically affluent family. His father Murali, is a famous composer who composes along with his brother Sabesh. His cousins are Jai and Srikanth Deva.

Prior to Kulir 100° he assisted Srikanth Deva, Sabesh-Murali, Deva, Vidyasagar.

Ramana Kumar Gogula (Telugu: రమణ కుమార్ గోగుల), popularly known as Ramana Gogula, is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, and composer. In 1996 he produced the Indian pop, studio album Mysty Rhythms along with a music video - Aye Laila which became a chart buster. He then ventured into Telugu cinema. He is also an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur. His notable hits include Thammudu, Adavilo Anna, Premante Idera, Badri, and Yuvaraju. He composed the theme music for the 70th anniversary celebrations of his alma mater, Timpany School. He was also co-founder and former CEO of the company Liquid Krystal in Bangalore.[1]

Besides Telugu he has scored music for a Kannada movie, Yuvaraja, starring Shivrajkumar and a Tamil movie, Badri, which is a remake of Thammudu. Gogula is a software engineer by profession, and has worked for Sybase. He recently relocated to Hyderabad and has finished a new film called Boni.
